San Diego County: They Do Love Their Sports

All over San Diego you'll encounter people in flip-flops and tank tops that look like they're ready for a beach cook out. Words like "chill," "no worries" and "whatever" roll off their tongues so frequently if you don't pay attention to the content of what they're saying it's hard to take them seriously. This relaxed mentality and surfer lifestyle lends itself well to a couple different avocations: riding beach cruisers, drinking beer, smoking weed and...watching sports.

Every restaurant, bar and cafe I went to in the city had a TV on the wall playing a game. Even the "hipster" hangs trying to create a prohibition era aesthetic had big screens plastered on the walls.
